Welcome to the third day of fall. They days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder, but that means leaves are beginning to showcase the brilliant colors of the season. If you live on the east coast, this side of the country is where leaves display the reds, yellows, and oranges of fall. Just like winter snowflakes, no two years bring the same foliage sights. Dependent on temperature and sunlight, each year factors in a different array of colors, patterns and leaf-fall. Certain trees carry specific colors in their leaves once the nights begin to grow longer toward the end of the year.
